Tottenham Nike home, away, third kit and training shirts for 2022/23: Photos and release dates

The end of Tottenham Hotspur's season is almost upon us and that's when attention turns to the transfer window and also for many fans the new kits the players will be wearing.

Tottenham inked a 15-year kit deal with Nike in 2018 and the US sportswear giants' various shirts for the north London club over recent seasons have already provoked a range of contrasting opinions from the supporters. Designs and 'leaked' images of what Son Heung-min & Co will be wearing in the 2022/23 season are already doing the rounds, such is the difficulty in keeping things under wraps in the football shirt world. With Spurs travelling to South Korea, Scotland and Israel for pre-season matches in July they will be looking to unveil at least some of their shirts before they head off across the globe.

Here's what we know so far about the three new Tottenham kits from Nike for the 2022/23 season as well as the training gear and pre-match tops.

Home kit

While the home kit will of course remain white, next season's Nike iteration will bringing back a splash of yellow to the kit. The official name of the bright high-vis colour is 'Volt' and it looks set to appear in some form on the home and away shirts as well as the training wear for next season.

On the home shirt, the Volt appears on the collar and cuffs of the sleeves and it makes the kit stand out a bit more than it did this season, while still looking plain enough to be the classic Spurs home shirt. The last time Spurs had a dash of yellow on the home shirt was the 2020/21 edition and before that in 2016/17 and 2014/15 on two of the club's Under Armour kits and then the last time before that was in 2009/10 when the home Puma kit introduced yellow to the club's home kit for the first time in the modern era.

The AIA sponsor logo remains in their trademark red and of course will spark the annual debate among those Spurs fans who do not want that colour on their shirt. The Cinch shirt sleeve logo remains in its currently rich blue colour.

With the Premier League season starting a week earlier this time due to the World Cup and that pre-season tour to South Korea coming early in July, the new shirt is expected to come out at a similar time to the 2021/22 version, which was released on May 24 last year. There is also a very bright yellow goalkeeper shirt that has been doing the rounds with black sponsor logos on it for Hugo Lloris to wear.

Below is a gallery of leaked images of the new outfield home shirt, first seen on Footy Headlines, as well as images of the away, third kits, training wear and pre-match shirts.

Away kit

Normally it's the third kit that ends up splitting opinion among Tottenham fans, but this year it might end up being the away shirt that causes the most debate.

There seems to be two slightly different versions of this shirt doing the rounds. The original 'leaked' design template has been around for a long time with Ofoball showing it last year as a blueish purple top with that bright Volt (bright yellow) collar and dark navy sleeves, shorts and Volt coloured socks. Both the AIA and Cinch logos appear to be in white in the templates.

Bleacher Report mocked up on their Instagram account a couple of weeks ago how the new away kit could look and rather than a simple Volt collar the yellow is expanded into a pointed stretch of colour that splits the blueish purple chest and dark navy sleeves. Their version also has the Cinch logo on the sleeve in yellow as you can see below.

Last season the away shirt was released a month after the home kit, coming on July 22, but with the money-spinning aspects of the summer tours, closing that gap between release dates is likely.

Third kit

The third kit is often a more daring look and this week we got our first look at what could be next season's alternative offering from Tottenham and Nike.

Twitter user Mark Baxter released an image which he claims shows the third kit lying alongside the new home shirt. If it is indeed the new third shirt then it's a turquoise number with black collar and cuffs and the AIA and Cinch logos in white.

The third shirt normally releases once the season has begun, often in August, although last season it did not arrive until September.

Here is the photo that Mark released this week on Twitter of the two shirts side by side.

Training kits and pre-match

The Getir-branded training gear for next season has also has started to appear with Ofoball 'leaking' some professional-looking images of a child wearing what is expected to be a black training kit, which we've included in the gallery above.

Another training kit is expected to be a bright yellow one, using that Volt colour across its entirety rather than just in splashes, with a version of that from Ofoball shown in the gallery.

There is also a smart-looking pre-match shirt which the players will wear as they warm-up on the pitch before their games, which is navy blue and has Volt logos and a design that incorporates graphics and the word Spurs repeatedly. You can see an image of that from Footy Headlines in the gallery above as well.

There has also been talk and design leaks of potential white Champions League apparel for training and pre-match wear should Tottenham manage to qualify for Europe's elite club competition.
