It looks like Feyenoord head coach Arne Slot won't be the next Tottenham Hotspur manager.
Slot had emerged as the frontrunner to succeed Antonio Conte in the Spurs managerial hot-seat, with the Italian relieved of his duties earlier this season. However, Slot has now confirmed that he intends to stay with the Dutch champions, a major blow to the Lillywhites' chairman Daniel Levy, who will now have to reassess his options.
“There is not - and there has not been - transfer conversation and yesterday’s meeting was exclusively for an extension", Slot said when discussing his future at the Eredivisie side. "All talks with the club have always been only in that sense. I'm looking forward to next season with Feyenoord.”

Attention now turns to other candidates and despite former Bayern Munich manager Julian Nagelsmann ruling himself out of the picture, Bet365 has the German as the most likely option to become Tottenham's next permanent boss, placing his odds at 7/2.
Ex-Barcelona head coach Luis Enrique is next best at 9/2, slightly ahead of Brendan Rodgers' price of 5/1.
Other notable names include the aforementioned Slot at (7/1), Graham Potter (8/1), current interim boss Ryan Mason (10/1) and Ruben Amorim (10/1) of Sporting CP.
