Spurs benefit from UEFA rule change
Antonio Conte and Tottenham have been handed a Champions League boost following a UEFA rule change.
UEFA have changed their position on Welsh players who trained at clubs affiliated with the English league system. This means that Ben Davies, as well as Joe Rodon, who is on loan with French side Rennes, can now be classed as homegrown in UEFA competition.
Davies now joins Fraser Forster, Brandon Austin, Djed Spence, Japhet Tanganga, Oliver Skipp, Ryan Sessegnon and Harry Kane as the eight homegrown players in Tottenham's 25-man squad.
Tottenham have their own 'Jude Bellingham'
French football expert Adam White told GiveMeSport that he feels Spurs talent Pape Matar Sarr has a similar skillset to Jude Bellingham.
When asked if there are similarities between the pair, White replied: “I think it’s a really good comparison actually. There’s a lot of parallels between them in terms of their ability and the positions they take up.
"Their skillset, and the job you would ask them to do in midfield as well.”
