What Hugo Lloris and Dele Alli did at the end of Spurs vs Everton
The Lilywhites ran out 5-0 winners against Frank Lampard's disorganised Everton side and a sub-plot that developed in the dying embers of the game was the re-emergence of Dele Alli.
The midfielder had played for seven years in the capital with Spurs before making the deadline day switch up to Merseyside.
He certainly got stuck in during his 25-minute cameo and was involved in a funny incident with Harry Kane near the end of the game.
Post-match though was where the most touching moment happened. Good mate Lloris joined Alli as he approached the Tottenham crowd to applaud them for his gratefulness.
The Frenchmen put his arm around Alli and embraced him as the former MK Dons man was gifted a perfect goodbye from the Tottenham crowd who constantly sung that 'we've got Alli' chants when he entered proceedings and even at the final whistle.
Teddy Sheringham slams Antonio Conte for what he did during FA Cup defeat to Middlesbrough
Tottenham icon Teddy Sheringham had questioned Antonio Conte's constant change in 'body language' ahead of the Lilywhites' latest challenge against Everton.
"It’s very up and down, very Spursy. I think tonight is going to go down on body language. When you look at Conte, his body language can go from one extreme to the next," the 55-year-old stated on Sky Sports' coverage of Monday Night Football.
"At Manchester City, he was jumping around and then at Middlesbrough in the FA Cup, he was down and not his usual self. I thought that they were improving under his guidance at the start of his time at the club, but I’m unsure what the direction is from here."
Conte himself in his pre-match press conference on Friday afternoon validated Sheringham's concerns, admitting that he doesn't like the so called 'Spursy' pattern of up and down results in a short space of time.
