Tottenham news: Todd Boehly's stance on Hugo Lloris transfer plan revealed amid injury update

Here are your latest football.london Tottenham headlines on Thursday, September 29.

Todd Boehly and Chelsea's stance on Hugo Lloris transfer plan

Tottenham are in the process of making their long-term plan to replace Hugo Lloris, whose contract expires in 2024.

With that in mind, the Evening Standard have reported that Atletico Madrid's Jan Oblak is top of the priority list. The Slovenian has been linked to London rivals Chelsea over the years.

But despite the thought that the Blues may go back in for a new goalkeeper amid the Edouard Mendy and Kepa Arrizabalaga uncertainty, the same report goes on to clarify that there is 'no indication' that Oblak will be the chosen target in Boehly's eyes which will be a relief to Fabio Paratici and Co.

Richarlison racism message

Richarlison has responded to all the love and support that has been shown his way since the Brazil vs Tunisia racism incident and has issued a Tottenham rallying call ahead of his side's vital Premier League clash against Arsenal.

As all players start making their way back to their respective clubs after the last international break prior to the FIFA Qatar World Cup, one incident on Tuesday night has left a bitter taste in everyone's mouth. This is because, during the 5-1 Brazil victory over North African side Tunisia in Paris, it was reported that a banana was hurled in the direction of Richarlison, who admitted after the incident that he didn't know how to react in the heat of the moment.

He told local media post-match: "I don't know what I could have done in the heat of the moment. May this fan be identified and punished. You see what happened with Vinicius Jr. recently and now this, inside a stadium. May the authorities find and punish him. May this incident teach other people not to do it."

It was unknown just the impact this would have on the Brazilian's availability and mental state ahead of the big North London Derby at the weekend but Antonio Conte's worries can now be eased with the player in question sending out love to the fans for their supportive messages and at the same time making a rallying call ahead of the early Saturday kick-off.

How Tottenham could lineup vs Arsenal

Antonio Conte and Mikel Arteta will be sweating on the fitness of the players they have not seen in more than a week after their exploits with their countries. And it will be interesting to see the starting lineups of both sides on Saturday morning.

Conte had Cristian Romero and Davinson Sanchez in action in South America in the early hours of Wednesday morning, so will not see either of them until Thursday to assess them ahead of Saturday's clash. Son Heung-min had a home friendly for South Korea on Tuesday, with Richarlison and Rodrigo Bentancur thankfully involved with their south American nations on European soil on Tuesday too, so not having as far to travel home.

Ryan Sessegnon, Oliver Skipp, Djed Spence, Dejan Kulusevski and Matt Doherty all had Tuesday night matches in Europe. None of them appeared to have any problems after those matches ended.

The issue after the long travels of Romero and Sanchez is the injury situation. Spurs skipper Hugo Lloris pulled out of international duty with France due to a thigh injury but no further information has been released on him. Meanwhile Ben Davies was missing for Wales due to a hairline fractur of a bone under his knee.
