Tottenham news: Surprise £78m transfer eyed as Son Heung-min explains Harry Kane relationship

Surprise Vlahovic move

Italian outlet CMW, via HITC, claim that Tottenham will pursue a £78million deal for Juventus striker Dusan Vlahovic if Harry Kane does end up joining Bayern Munich – with the Serbian potentially open to leaving the Old Lady amid their dismal form.

Kane has been linked with a move to the Bundesliga as Bayern search for their long-term Robert Lewandowski replacement following his move to Barcelona in the summer.

Spurs' Champions League permutations

Tottenham climbed to the top of Group D in the Champions League after a win over Eintracht Frankfurt in north London on Wednesday night. Despite a scary start, Spurs ended up 3-2 victors over the Bundesliga outfit, who ended the game with 10 men.

With their quality, Spurs should qualify for the Round of 16, but there's still a chance that they could slip into the Europa League - or even not qualify at all - if they're not careful.

Son on Kane relationship

Son Heung-min revealed why he and Harry Kane combine so well following Spurs' victory over Frankfurt. The duo combined for the 50th time to draw Antonio Conte's level after the visitor's notched ahead in the opening quarter of an hour.

Speaking to BT Sport, the South Korea international reflected on what was an impressive display alongside his strike partner. Revealing the reason behind their awe-inspiring combination play, Son said: "We just understand [each other] really well.

"I know what H likes to do, and probably H is the same. It’s a good relationship, there’s no secret. It’s always hard work and a good effort, and I think this has always paid off. Hopefully many more [goals to come]."
