Sporting CP star scouted
According to Correio da Manha, via Sport Witness, Tottenham representatives will be watching Sporting CP take on Benfica this Saturday.
That is because the north Londoners are said to be keen on winger Marcus Edwards, talented playmaker Pedro Goncalves and Sporting manager Ruben Amorim. Edwards previously played for the Lillywhites, coming through the club's academy before leaving for Portuguese outfit Vitoria de Guimaraes in the summer of 2019.

Lucas sends goodbye message
Tottenham have confirmed that Lucas Moura will leave the club at the end of the 2022/23 Premier League campaign at the end of his contract with the club.
In a video on the Lillywhites' official Twitter account, the Brazilian sent an emotional message to supporters after his exit was confirmed. "My Spurs, wherever I am, my heart will always be here. You are my club," said Lucas.
"It has been the greatest honour to defend this badge. Every flick, every tackle, every leap, every goal. Some nights we will never forget, written in history together.
"I will always love you no matter where I go. We will meet again. Come on you Spurs!"

Supporters' statement
The new chair and vice-chairs of the Tottenham Hotspur Supporters' Trust have spoken out about mistakes made by the north London club's owners and board but they hope to have their say in influencing the way Spurs are run.
Their statement read: "They say if you get four football fans in a room you’ll get five opinions, but it’s clear however many Spurs fans you got into a room they would all agree that times have been challenging lately," it read. "That applies on and off the pitch – the two things are linked. As fans, we can’t do much directly to influence what happens on the pitch. But we can influence the way the club is run so that there is a better chance of success on the pitch.
"We all know standards have slipped on the pitch. Our talisman Harry Kane recently said what most fans have been thinking when he said the club had lost ‘some values’ since the Mauricio Pochettino era. We doubt anybody would disagree with that."
