Aston Villa loss
Tottenham's torrid campaign continued on Saturday as they were defeated 2-1 by Aston Villa.
The Lillywhites failed to register a single shot on goal in the first half, with Jacob Ramsey breaking the deadlock after just eight minutes. England international Ollie Watkins then doubled his side's advantage with a little under 20 minutes left to play before Spurs frontman Harry Kane netted a consolation goal from the penalty spot in injury time.
The result means that Villa are now level on points with the north Londoners, who only remain above Unai Emery's men due to a marginally superior goal difference.

Mason's frustrations
Spurs interim boss Ryan Mason made it no secret of his disappointment after watching his side loss at Villa Park.
When asked if he was frustrated at conceding early, Mason said: "Absolutely. To go a goal down so early in the game has happened far too many times this season.
"We need to be better at that. It's a very disappointing day. If I'm honest I thought they were definitely the better team in the first half. Though I don't remember Fraser having to make many big saves. In fact throughout the match I don't remember Fraser having to make many big saves.
"The first half with the ball we kind of got it wrong, we weren't that great. That changed a bit in the second half, I thought we were more of a threat. And to be honest their keeper pulled off an amazing save at 1-0 that maybe could have changed the flow of the game. But a few minutes later they score forma s et piece from 25 yards so yeah t's a difficult one to take."

Dier injury
Tottenham were handed an injury concern before the aforementioned loss to Villa yesterday, with defender Eric Dier missing the the matchday squad.
The centre-half wasn't part of the side that beat Crystal Palace last weekend as Ryan Mason opted for a back three that included Emerson Royal, Cristian Romero and Clement Lenglet.
