Spurs give Arsenal title boost
Tottenham placed a major dent into Manchester City's Premier League title hopes thus handing their north London rivals a major boost following their superb victory against Pep Guardiola's men on Sunday.
Harry Kane scored the only goal of the game which saw him break the goalscoring record of the late great Jimmy Greaves'. Because of that result the Gunners kept their five-point gap at the top of the Premier League after they had lost the previous day to Everton.
Mikel Arteta's men were hopeful of their fierce rivals offering them a title boost when they played City at Etihad Stadium less than three weeks ago, but a second half capitulation from Spurs saw them lose the game 4-2.

However this time round Spurs took the lead against the champions and were able to see out the victory before Arsenal take on their title rivals in less than 10 days.
Pep Guardiola sends Haaland Harry Kane message
Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola has told goalscorer Erling Haaland that he could improve his game by watching Spurs striker Harry Kane.
The Norwegian has scored 31 goals in 27 games this season and has seemed to find the adaptation to the Premier League rather easily after moving from Borussia Dortmund.
However, Guardiola has urged his striker to continue improving. "With Erling, one of the attributes that surprised me the most is how he is aware he can improve in many departments," he said.
"And I'm pretty sure maybe watching Harry Kane, but not necessarily Harry, other players too, he has the will to think, 'I can do better.' With his age, this is the best thing he can believe. Otherwise, it would be boring."

Lucas Moura 'close' to move
Italian outlet Foot Mercato have claimed that Spurs winger Lucas Moura was 'close' to signing Qatari side Al Sadd in the January transfer window.
The Brazilian is expected to leave the club at the end of the season when his contract expires and there were reports that the likes of Southampton, Crystal Palace and Everton all considered a late move. However, despite Tottenham reportedly seeking £4.4million for Moura, a move never materialised due to the winger's reluctance to move.
