Here is your Tottenham morning digest on Wednesday, August 24.
Transfer dilemma
Tottenham could be handed a potential transfer dilemma in letting winger Bryan Gil leave on loan this summer if recent reports are to be believed. That could all be down to a decision made by rivals Manchester United, due to them letting striker Edinson Cavani leave as a free agent.
GOAL reports that the Uruguayan is of interest to La Liga side Valencia - who are also looking to sign Gil after an impressive loan spell last campaign. The report claims that two players would have to leave to sign the 35-year-old, meaning a potential move for the Tottenham forward on loan could be unlikely.

Japhet Tanganga decision
Japhet Tanganga's first choice if he leaves Tottenham Hotspur this summer is a move to AC Milan, football.london understands. The academy graduate has been heavily linked with an exit before the end of deadline day next week, with plenty of options rumoured.
The likes of Bournemouth and Nottingham Forest have been on the agenda, however, the Rossoneri appear to be the ideal destination for the defender.
Antonio Conte claim
Antonio Conte has explained his tactical decisions at Tottenham Hotspur, how he teaches the players with Subbuteo and what he wants from them in specific roles. The 53-year-old has developed a very particular style at Spurs with his back three and his front three, and that system swept the club back into the Champions League with a fourth-place finish last season, and the north London outfit have begun the current campaign with two wins and a draw.
