Here is your Tottenham Hotspur morning digest on Thursday, October 20.
Manchester United 2-0 Spurs
Spurs' four-game unbeaten run came to an end on Wednesday night as they fell to a 2-0 defeat to Manchester United. Second-half goals from Fred and Bruno Fernandes handed Erik ten Hag's men all three points to leave them four points behind Antonio Conte's side.
Many players failed to turn up at Old Trafford, with Hugo Lloris putting in an impressive performance to keep the score down. Unlike the shot-stopper, Harry Kane and Son Heung-min both failed to test David De Gea.

Tielemans decision
Dean Jones has recently claimed that Tielemans would have chosen Spurs over Arsenal in the summer. "He would've chosen Tottenham over Arsenal just because Tottenham have got Champions League football," Jones told The Football Terrace via football365.
"And I still remember getting a text at the back end of last season when Tottenham were on the verge of qualifying for the Champions League. It was like: 'if Tottenham do get fourth spot, Tielemans is right at the top of their list'. And it just hasn't come through for whatever reason."
Tottenham told Premier League star 'starts' ahead of Kulusevski
Former Aston Villa striker Gabby Agbonlahor believes that Crystal Palace star Wilfried Zaha would start ahead of Dejan Kulusevski at Tottenham Hotspur. The 29-year-old's contract expires at the end of the current season, amid talk that he'll finally get another big move to the likes of Spurs, Arsenal or even Chelsea.
Kulusevski has made a great start to his Spurs career since moving from Juventus to the Premier League - initially on loan but with a view to buy - but Zaha has been equally impressive despite playing for a typically 'smaller club' in Palace.
