Kane puts talks on hold
As per the Evening Standard, Tottenham will have to wait until after the World Cup to work out a new contract with Harry Kane after he put discussions on hold. The striker has 18 months left on his current deal and is said to be solely focused on finishing the half-season with Spurs before leading his country in Qatar.

Spurs fined
Tottenham have been fined for failing to control its players in an orderly fashion following an incident in the 31st minute against Newcastle United last weekend.
An FA spokesperson said: "Tottenham Hotspur FC has been fined £20,000 for breaching FA Rule E20.1 during its match against Newcastle United FC in the Premier League on Sunday, 23rd October 2022. Tottenham Hotspur FC admitted failing to ensure that its players conducted themselves in an orderly fashion during the 31st minute and also accepted the standard penalty."
