Harry Kane verdict delivered
Former England defender Paul Parker says Harry Kane may not longer deserve his place in Gareth Southgate's starting XI. Speaking to PA via the Independent in the wake of their 4-0 defeat to Hungary, Parker said: “Where was he? He was back on the halfway line trying to be a number 10. England needed a centre forward and he was not even in the game.
“Take Harry Kane off the pitch, he was not even trying. He didn’t even get past a sprint. Just because you are the captain it doesn’t mean you can’t be taken off. His season doesn’t suggest that he should be starting to be perfectly honest."

Yves Bissouma praise
Tottenham are closing in on the signing of Brighton midfielder Yves Bissouma this summer as Antonio Conte continues to put his mark on the north-Londoners this summer. Bissouma will follow Ivan Perisic into the club and Daniel Levy's deal has been praised by former manager Chris Hughton.
“He’s very talented on the ball, happy to receive it in tight areas, with a lovely knack for driving past players," the former Brighton boss told The Athletic. "Really good business for Spurs."
Fresh Eriksen challenge
Tottenham are one of a number of clubs interested in signing Christian Eriksen on a free transfer this summer following his impressive spell with Brentford last season. Manchester United have also been linked with the former Spurs man and a fresh challenge has emerged as well.
According to the Liverpool Echo, Everton have also joined the race to land the midfielder as Frank Lampard looks to ensure the Toffees steer clear of relegation trouble. Eriksen is set to be a free agent this summer and he will not be short of options.
