Fabio Paratici 'jets to Italy'

Spurs Technical Director Fabio Paratici has reportedly flown to his native Italy as the search for new signings continues. This is according to football.london's chief Tottenham Hotspur correspondent Alasdair Gold.

Nicolo Zaniolo has been linked to the club and could be a potential target of the Italian's trip, but with Spurs acting fast in this summer's transfer market it surely won't be long until we find out the purpose of his visit.

Gabriel Jesus 'talks continue'

While it had been reported in some quarters that a move to sign Gabriel Jesus had gone cold, Spanish outlet AS report that talks took place between Spurs and the Brazilian's representatives.

This could have been what was discussed, but with Champions League football on offer under Antonio Conte he could well be tempted to make the move.

Djed Spence disagreement

Tottenham and Middlesbrough are reportedly still apart in their valuation of right-wing-back Djed Spence ahead of a proposed move to the Premier League.

Chris Wilder's side are thought to want £15milion plus add-ons for the 21-year-old, while Spurs are said to be hoping to pay considerably less for the man who won promotion on loan at Nottingham Forest last season.
