Spence explains what he'll bring
Latest Tottenham Hotspur signing Djed Spence has explained what he will bring to his new club.
The 21-year-old full-back sealed his move to Antonio Conte's side on Tuesday in a deal which could eventually be worth £20million with add-ons. Spence says the opportunity to play Premier League football was "a dream come true" and he has explained exactly what he will bring to his new side.
He said: "I bring excitement, skill, speed, I just want to excite the fans and play well. To just be prepared to work hard. I'm a very chilled character, I'm very humble and everything is about football with me. I've dedicated my whole life to it, nothing else but just football, football, football really."
In his first words since signing for Tottenham, Spence also revealed the one player he already has a bond with and opened up on his ambitions with Spurs.

Youngster sends classy farewell message
Josh Oluwayemi has sent a classy farewell message to Spurs after completing his move to Portsmouth.
The 21-year-old has penned a one-year deal with the League One club in a deal that does include an option for a further year should the Fratton Park outfit wish to extend it. And Oluwayemi shared a classy message for his former club on social media.
He wrote: "It’s an end of beautiful chapter at the club. I want to say thank you to all the coaching staff, the fans and the teammates. Picking me up as a 10-year-old boy, it has been an eventful 11 years with many memories and @spursofficial will always have a place in my heart #COYS."
Exciting transfer change
Djed Spence represents the only Spurs signing this summer that fits in with the club's transfer model from recent seasons.
The club have tended to favour signing young players who have plenty of potential and the possibility of a large re-sale value. In 21-year-old Spence, it is quite possible the club have exactly this.
But, in the signings of Fraser Forster, Ivan Perisic, Yves Bissouma and Richarlison, Spurs have signed players who are very much already the finished article. It represents an exciting transfer change by Antonio Conte and Fabio Paratici – and is a far cry from the position Spurs found themselves in last summer.
