Tottenham Hotspur chief Daniel Levy has been slammed over the appointment of Antonio Conte.
Spurs appointed the Italian as manager in November after the short reign of Nuno Espirito Santo at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
But pundit Micah Richards has questioned the "point" of the club making the appointment, following their activity in January's transfer window.
It comes as Antonio Conte's ' Cristiano Ronaldo attitude' since taking over at the club has been questioned, and former boss Mauricio Pochettino's achievements at Spurs have been criticised by Arsenal legend Paul Merson.

Pochettino achievements criticised
Arsenal legend Paul Merson has called out Mauricio Pochettino's achievements as Tottenham Hotspur manager as he questioned whether the Argentine should be appointed as Manchester United's next permanent boss.
Pochettino, now in charge of the likes of Lionel Messi, Kylian Mbappe and Neymar at Paris Saint-Germain, is among the favourites to take up the manager's position at Old Trafford at the end of the season.
But Merson says reports of United's interest 'does his head in' as he criticised his achievements at Spurs and his handling of the superstars at his disposal in the French capital.
Levy slammed
Micah Richards has asked what the 'point' was in Spurs hiring Antonio Conte as manager.
The Italian joined the club in November to replace Nuno Espirito Santo, with the appointment of the Premier League and Serie A winner met with much excitement.
But Richards has posed the question: "Why get an elite manager if you’re not going to give him the tools to deliver?"
In a scathing assessment of the club's January transfer window activity, Richards has slammed the club over the appointment.
Conte attitude questioned
Antonio Conte needs to 'lose the Cristiano Ronaldo attitude and get real at Tottenham', according to Mirror columnist Brian Reade.
Tottenham are still just about in the race for Champions League football next season despite their struggles in recent weeks.
But despite their struggles this season, Reade has questioned Conte's attitude since arriving in north London.
He writes: "The forlorn figure he now cuts suggests he’s a gambler who bet on the wrong horse. Like Cristiano Ronaldo during most games at Old Trafford, his body language screams: 'What am I doing here? I’m better than this.'"
