Arsenal join Josko Gvardiol race

Tottenham have been linked with a move for RB Leipzig defender Josko Gvardiol this summer. The 20-year-old has impressed for the Bundesliga side, attracting plenty of clubs as a young, left-footed centre-back.

While Spurs are one of the sides linked, they could soon face further competition. According to Mediafoot, north London rivals Arsenal are also interested in a transfer for the Croatia international this summer.

Steven Bergwijn admission

Former Tottenham man Steven Bergwijn has admitted that he had been looking forward to sealing a move to Ajax for 18 months. Joining Spurs from PSV in January 2020, the winger found himself in and out of the team and his minutes were limited under Jose Mourinho, Nuno Espirito Santo and Antonio Conte.
