Here is your Tottenham morning digest on Thursday, August 25.
How many players Spurs could sign because of outgoings
There is just over a week of the summer transfer window remaining, but that does mean there is still time for deals to get over the line. It has already been a busy window for Tottenham, in Antonio Conte's first summer in N17.
The Italian has added six new arrivals to his squad already, with Destiny Udogie also signing, although the 19-year-old has been loaned back to Udinese for the season. There are a number of other Spurs player who have also gone out on loan, with Giovani Lo Celso and Tanguy Ndombele being the latest duo to depart.

Both were part of the quartet who were not involved in Conte's plans for the season and were training away from the first team. The other two players are Harry Winks and Sergio Reguilon.
Conte fine reasoning and why no ban
The independent regulatory commission have released their written reasons for handing Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel a ban but not Tottenham head coach Antonio Conte following the derby between the two sides as well as both men's letters to the FA.
Both head coaches were handed yellow cards earlier in the game but then received straight red cards after the final whistle following a clash when Conte attempted to shake Tuchel's hand and the Blues boss did not let go, sparking a coming together of players and staff. Now the FA, who charged both men with misconduct, have revealed the reasons behind the sanctions dished out by the commission.
Referee Anthony Taylor's submitted report on the red card said: "I have to report that I, as the referee sent off Thomas Tuchel and Antonio Conte of Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur under Law 12: Physical or aggressive behaviour. At the final whistle the two managers, Mr Tuchel and Mr Conte shook hands at the side of the pitch which appeared to result in prolonged physical contact between them. As a result, an aggressive confrontation ensued which caused a further mass confrontation involving the technical areas and players. Having shown Mr Tuchel and Mr Conte the red card I advised him to leave the field of play."
Full list of potential Champions League group stage opponents
Champions League group stage draw day has finally arrived. Ever since sealing fourth place in the final game of the 2021/22 campaign at Norwich City, Tottenham fans have been counting down the days for Europe's premier competition to return.
While the group phase doesn't commence for another 12 days, supporters will be able to start planning their trips across Europe later this evening once the draw has taken place in Istanbul, Turkey. Proceedings begin at 5pm, with Antonio Conte's Tottenham team in Pot 2.
Potentially coming up against one of Real Madrid, Bayern Munich or PSG from Pot 1, there are also some very tricky teams in Pot 3 as Inter Milan, Napoli, and Borussia Dortmund find themselves in there. Having not featured in the Champions League since their elimination against RB Leipzig in March 2020, the Lilywhites will be looking to go far in the competition under Conte.
