Lloris replacement identified
While it was joy for Romero, it was despair for his Spurs team-mate and France captain Hugo Lloris who was unable to guide his country to a second consecutive World Cup win.

Dean Jones told GiveMeSport: “Yann Sommer is one that I’ve been told is on the radar [of Tottenham]. They’re just looking to see what he’s looking to do next. So, I think various things will crop up.”
Levy's to-do list

Spurs will restart the Premier League season at Brentford on Boxing Day sitting fourth in the table, three points off second-placed Manchester City, and Conte's men will also face AC Milan across two legs in the Champions League round of 16 after topping their group with that dramatic victory at Marseille.
