Chelsea and Tottenham 'to begin £34m transfer bidding'
Chelsea and Tottenham look to have stepped up their efforts to sign Gleison Bremer in the summer transfer window. The 25-year-old has been heavily linked with a move to the Premier League lately, with Arsenal among several sides also credited with interest in the Torino defender.
With both sides eager to sign Bremer this summer, Italian newspaper La Stampa, via Milan News, report that the two London clubs are ready to start bidding at €40million (£34m). The Brazilian featured 33 times for Ivan Juric's side in the Serie A this season, steering the Italian side to a top-10 finish.
His impressive displays have also reportedly caught the attention of Bayern Munich and Inter Milan, though the latter now seems to have pulled out having seemingly convinced Alessandro Bastoni to stay.

Ryan Sessegnon putting in hard work to be ready for pre-season
Ryan Sessegnon has been putting himself through rigorous muscle strengthening workouts to ensure he is ready for the gruelling pre-season to come under Tottenham head coach Antonio Conte.
The 21-year-old left wing-back finished the Premier League season strongly, having established himself as a regular starter at Tottenham for the first time since his move from Fulham in 2019 and with praise from Conte ringing in his ears. The only problem for Sessegnon once again this season has been hamstring problems, with injuries in different muscles.
football.london reported last month that a joint decision was made to withdraw the young wide man from the England U21 squad's four matches due to the amount of minutes he had played as Spurs' only fit left wing-back late in the season, having only returned from another hamstring injury before.
Tottenham 'enquire' about £43m-rated defender
Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly enquired over the availability of Roma defender Roger Ibanez. football.london had been reporting that Inter Milan centre-back Allesandro Bastoni was one player on Spurs' radar as Antonio Conte looks to bolster his defensive options in the summer transfer window.
Unfortunately for the Lillywhites, Bastoni has since seemingly hinted that he wants to stay with the Nerazzurri ahead of next season, sending heart emojis in Inter's blue and black colours in response to an Instagram post that claimed the player's agent said he would be staying at the San Siro.
However, Calciomercato have now reported that another Serie A centre-half has caught the north Londoners' attention in the form of Roma star Ibanez, who is valued at between €40million-€50million (£34million-£43million) by CIES football Observatory. The report claims that Spurs have been impressed with the Brazilian's performances throughout the 2021/22 campaign, enquiring over the availability of the 23-year-old in the transfer market.
