Tottenham news: Antonio Conte plots £77m transfer swoop as Everton drop huge Richarlison hint

Your Tottenham digest on Saturday, June 18.

Spurs plot second Lautaro Martinez swoop

Tottenham are - again - being linked with a £77million move for Inter Milan striker Lautaro Martinez. Less than a year ago, Spurs agreed a fee with the Italian giants believed to be in the region of £60million.

A year on and Daniel Levy could be ushered into tabling an extra £17million for the Argentine. Italian journalist Alfredo Pedulla has said Antonio Conte is 'crazy' about Martinez, but that the striker wants to stay at Inter.

The Italian side decided not to part with him last year once they raked in £97.5million for Romelu Lukaku from Chelsea. But, with the Belgian nearing a return to the San Siro, Tottenham could finally get a deal done for Martinez.

Richarlison hint

Tottenham Hotspur have been handed a major boost towards completing the signing of Richarlison, with Conte eager to bolster his strike force this summer. The 25-year-old has been heavily linked with a move away from Goodison Park lately, and Spurs have emerged as a likely destination.

Richarlison wants to leave Everton and he has a Premier League switch in his sights, according to Goal Brasil. The report adds that the forward's representatives are engaged in talks with a host of clubs in Europe's top leagues as they attempt to get the player a move this summer.

While a deal for Richarlison is yet to be completed, Lampard's transfer activity reveals a huge hint into whether the forward will be on the move this summer. According to Daily Mail journalist Tom Collomosse, Emmanuel Dennis has emerged as a target for Everton.

The report claims that the Watford striker is one of several options being considered if Richarlison leaves this summer. The newly-relegated side reportedly want £20million for the Nigeria international, who has a contract at Vicarage Road until 2026.

Antony transfer blow

Tottenham Hotspur have been reminded of an advantage that Manchester United hold in the race to sign Ajax winger Antony. The 22-year-old has been heavily linked with a move to North London this summer, though the appointment of Erik ten Hag at Old Trafford could pose an issue for Conte.

According to Miguel Delaney, the Lilywhites are ready to challenge United for the Brazil international. The report adds that the North London outfit would be willing to offer Steven Bergwijn in any potential deal, which could give them the edge over the Red Devils.

However, the United boss has received the backing of Antony to succeed in the Premier League, with the Brazilian praising his coaching credentials. And, the winger's comments may also suggest that he would be delighted to link back up with the Dutchman at Old Trafford.
