Tottenham news: Antonio Conte plans £70m Chelsea transfer hijack as Real Madrid target striker

Your Tottenham Hotspur morning digest on Tuesday, November 29.

Real Madrid target shock Richarlison transfer

Real Madrid have been linked with a move for Spurs' forward Richarlison. The Brazilian enjoyed a brilliant World Cup debut against Serbia as he scored two outstanding goals.

As per the Spanish publication Sport, Los Blancos could make a move for him in the upcoming transfer windows. Richarlison has the technical attributes to develop into a top-class forward and the 25-year-old is seen as having similarities to that of Karim Benzema.

Spurs signed Richarlison in the summer and tied down to a long-term deal meaning they are unlikely to sanction his departure anytime soon.

What Son Heung-min did to angry teammates after South Korea defeat

After 10 minutes of injury time had been played, referee Anthony Taylor blew the full-time whistle as South Korea had just earned themselves a corner leading to manager Paulo Bento and his players arguing with the officials.

Son has not scored since his two goals against Eintracht Frankfurt for Spurs in the Champions League group stage back in October. The Tottenham striker has now gone eight games without a goal for club and country as his drought in front of goal continues into the World Cup.

A number of South Korea players, along with their manager, were left frustrated and angry with Taylor after they were denied the opportunity to take a corner in the final seconds of the match. Son was one of the first players to question the referee's decision as the captain held off teammates that were visibly much angrier than himself.

Antonio Conte using Ivan Perisic to seal £70m Chelsea transfer hijack

According to Italian news outlet Tuttomercatoweb, Conte is hoping that Croatia international Ivan Perisic can help him secure a deal for his compatriot Josko Gvardiol, with both players representing their country at the World Cup in Qatar.

Spurs want to buy a new central defender next summer and intend on signing Gvardiol, who has been heavily linked with a move to London rivals Chelsea.

Perisic is said to be actively trying to convince his young international team-mate to snub the Blues in favour of a move to Tottenham next summer. RB Leipzig are set to ask for a fee in the region of £70million to part ways with their star defender and Conte is keen to strengthen his defence which is considered the key area in helping his team play the way he wants.
