Conte's Rodon confession
Tottenham Hotspur boss Antonio Conte has hailed Joe Rodon after the defender turned in some impressive performances while on international duty with Wales.
The centre-back helped his country progress in the World Cup play-offs as Wales beat Austria 2-1. And following that result Rodon has come in for heavy praise from his club manager, who hailed the defender as a "great man".
And according to football.london, Conte has now thrown down the gauntlet for Rodon to continue making progress and to "work hard".
Kane labelled 'lunatic'
Harry Kane has been labelled a "lunatic" by former Tottenham teammate Joe Hart.
The former Spurs goalkeeper spoke about his old teammate as he explained exactly what sets the England captain apart from his peers and makes him the "perfect" player. The two played together at Tottenham last season and Kane clearly left an impression on Hart, who is now enjoying life at Scottish side Celtic.
Hart says Kane is a "lunatic" for managing to still improve despite his advancing years as he hailed the striker's "mentality and work-ethic".
Conte's top four prediction
Antonio Conte has said it will take a "miracle" for his side to qualify for next season's Champions League – and their success will depend on Manchester United.
Spurs have improved their Premier League form in recent weeks to keep their Champions League hopes alive but still trail bitter rivals Arsenal by three points, while the Gunners also have a game in hand on Conte's side. But it is United who the Spurs boss appears to be more concerned about in the race to finish in the top four as he opened up on his side's "very, very, very difficult" challenge.
