Antonio Conte admitted he was 'disappointed with Tottenham Hotspur's Saturday's 1-1 draw at Liverpool – and has suggested his side should have won.
Luiz Diaz claimed a point for the Reds as his shot from outside the box took a deflection off of Rodrigo Bentancur to cancel out Son Heung-min’s 20th goal of the season. And Conte thinks his side created enough chances to take all three points as he heaped praise on his players for handling the "amazing atmosphere" at Anfield.
It comes as Spurs fans rubbed salt in Liverpool's wounds with a particularly savage chant following the full-time whistle. And Conte appears to finally be getting the tactical discipline he craves out of his Tottenham players.

Players give Conte something he craves
Tottenham's players appear to finally be giving Antonio Conte the tactical discipline he craves.
Spurs dug in and had a clear game plan from the off at Anfield as they played with five at the back, four in midfield, doubled up on Mohamed Salah and Luis Diaz and looked to hit the space behind their opponents’ full-backs, particularly Andy Robertson. The performance from the Tottenham layers showed they can carry out Conte's instructions to the letter, football.london reports.
And with the club expecting the Italian to still be at the helm next season despite reports linking him with a move to Paris Saint-Germain, there is excitement about what he could achieve after a successful summer transfer window.
Conte 'disappointed' with draw
Spurs boss Antonio Conte said he was "proud" of his players following the 1-1 draw at Anfield, but added he was "disappointed" they could not get the win.
Son Heung-min put Spurs ahead in the second half as he finished off a swift Spurs move as poked home Ryan Sessegnon's cross at the far post. Luiz Diaz found an equaliser for the hosts in the 74th minute as his shot from outside the box cannoned in off of Rodrigo Bentancur.
But Spurs had chances to win it towards the end, according to Conte, who could not hide his disappointment at the final whistle.
