Reports on the continent are suggesting Tottenham Hotspur could launch an ambitious bid to sign Napoli supremo Cristiano Giuntoli.
As well as the managerial hot seat, Spurs are also looking for a fresh face in the boardroom after Fabio Paratici’s controversial exit. The Italian resigned last month amid an investigation for alleged financial irregularities at Juventus, something which he denies.
It remains unclear whether Daniel Levy will appoint a sporting director before making any decision on a new manager. But reporter Ciro Venerato has told Italian outlet Tutto Juve that Tottenham - as well as Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain - have “contacted” the Napoli chief.

“The Napoli experience of Cristiano Giuntoli has perhaps reached its epilogue,” he said. “Juve is mainly involved in Tuscany but, in recent weeks, he has also had contacts with Manchester United, Tottenham and Paris Saint-Germain.”
Giuntoli has overseen a transformative period at Gli Azzurri, resulting in the club evolving from Serie A also-rans to champions. Supporters celebrated wildly last week once their status as league winners was confirmed for just the third time in their history.
Shrewd recruitment is cited as a key reason for Napoli’s success, with Kim Min-jae, Mathias Olivera and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia arriving for nominal fees last summer. The trio are already linked with big-money moves to the Premier League.
Marquee arrivals like Victor Osimhen have also paid off, a feat Spurs have failed to replicate in recent seasons, with 51-year-old Giuntoli having spearheaded the Naples club’s resurgence since July 2015.
