Tottenham learn new deadline for Manor Solomon transfer decision amid Fulham battle

Tottenham transfer target Manor Solomon will decide on his club future after a summer holiday.

The 23-year-old Israeli winger spent this season on loan at Fulham, after a FIFA ruling allowed foreign players to leave Shakhtar Donetsk indefinitely, amid the war in Ukraine.

Solomon performed well for Marco Silva’s side, scoring in five straight games between February and March.

He has since attracted interested from Tottenham, but Shakhtar have threatened to sue Spurs if they try to sign him for free, despite FIFA extending the ruling that allowed him to leave Ukraine and handing unilateral power to the player.

Solomon scored the winner in Israel’s Euro 2024 qualifying win over Andorra on Monday night, and Standard Sport understands that he is now heading to Ibiza for a seven-day holiday.

Other clubs are interested in signing Solomon, with Spurs and Fulham the frontrunners.

However, Fulham must restart negotiations to secure a permanent deal because his spell this season was an emergency loan with no option to extend.

Solomon has registered seven goals and nine assists in 35 internationals since making his senior Israel debut in 2018.
