Tottenham interest in Nottingham Forest transfer cools as new 'priority' emerges

The future of Djed Spence has been a hot topic amid his brilliant form for Nottingham Forest this season.

The exciting right-back, on a season-long loan from Middlesbrough, is reportedly wanted by top-flight clubs at home and abroad after helping the Reds climb the Championship table and reach the quarter-finals of the FA Cup.

Tottenham, Arsenal and Manchester City are among the English clubs to have been linked with Spence while reports in Germany say Bayern Munich are ready to make a bid.

Spurs boss Antonio Conte is believed to be an admirer and is keen to sign a new right-sided defender this summer.

However, his interest in Spence has reportedly cooled as he priorities another Middlesbrough man Isiah Jones, who has impressed this season after being plucked from non-league Tooting & Mitcham United in 2019.

Transfer insider Dave Jones told GiveMeSport: “From what I’m told, Isaiah Jones has actually emerged as a player of higher priority for Tottenham in the next window.”
