Tottenham's stunning start to the season ended with a costly defeat to rivals Chelsea on Monday.
While Spurs emerged with some credit after taking the game to the Blues even despite going down to nine men, the injuries that have hit Ange Postecoglou's side could prove far more serious than the defeat itself.
Already operating with a smaller squad than their title rivals, the loss of key players could have a major impact on where their season goes from here.
Here's a look at the latest Tottenham injuries.
James Maddison
James Maddison has arguably been the most influential player in the Premier League this season.
So the sight of him being forced off in the first half having gone down under no contact was a major worry.
Postecoglou, however, sounded upbeat after the game, hinting that Maddison was taken off as a precautionary measure more than anything after Cristian Romero's red card, and the midfielder has been called up to the England squad in a further hint that the issue is not a serious one.
"He got a knock on the ankle," Postecoglou told BBC Sport after the Chelsea match.
"We were down one man already. It made sense to make a couple of changes at that point."

Micky van de Ven
Spurs are confident that Micky van de Ven will not require surgery on the hamstring injury he suffered against Chelsea.
The Dutchman has formed an excellent partnership with Cristian Romero in central defence and his recovery speed is vital to Postecoglou's high line at the crux of his system.
Seconds after Maddison went off injured, van de Ven pulled up with the hamstring issue and could not walk of the pitch without help.
"It's too early but looking at Micky you're thinking it's a pretty significant one so you'd assume he'll be out for a little while," Postecoglou said after the match.
While it remains uncertain he will be sidelined, and reports suggest it could be until the New Year, it is a positive development that no surgery is needed.

Richarlison
When it rains it pours, it seems, as Richarlison just hours after the defeat to Chelsea confirmed he plans on undergoing surgery on a long-standing injury issue.
The Brazilian was an unused substitute against Chelsea and after the game said he had been struggling for fitness.
Tottenham have now confirmed the forward has undergone surgery on his groin.

Ryan Sessegnon
Ryan Sessegnon is yet to play at all this season after undergoing hamstring surgery over the course of the summer.
While an October return looked likely at one point, the former Fulham defender has only started light training recently.
Postecoglou said last month: "Sess is still a fair bit of time away; he's longer-term."

Manor Solomon
Summer signing Manor Salomon required surgery on a knee injury sustained in training and is expected back in December.

Ivan Perisic
Ivan Perisic is unlikely to play for Tottenham again following a serious knee injury during pre-season.
