Brazil international Richarlison has returned to full training for Tottenham ahead of their Carabao Cup match against Nottingham Forest, football.london understands.
The 25-year-old learned this week that he was in Brazil's squad for the World Cup in Qatar this winter and he will get game time ahead of that with his return to training at Hotspur Way. Richarlison made a big impact at Spurs after his £60m signing from Everton in the summer but has missed the past six matches with a calf injury.
There was an initial fear that he would miss the World Cup with that injury, but he has recovered and football.london understands that the attacker trained on Monday with those players who did not start in the defeat against Liverpool, with the starters undergoing a recovery session.

Then on Tuesday Richarlison was set to go through a session with the full group ahead of Wednesday's Carabao Cup tie at Forest in which he is expected to be in the matchday squad.
His return comes after Dejan Kulusevski came back from his hamstring injury to grab an assist from the bench against Liverpool at the weekend. That leaves only Cristian Romero and Son Heung-min as the injured first team players, barring any fresh knocks picked up in the weekend's game.
Spurs boss Antonio Conte has decided to leave press conference duties for the Carabao Cup match to his assistant Cristian Stellini on Tuesday, after his compatriot filled in last week while the head coach was suspended for the Champions League game in Marseille. Conte has taken part in 20 press conferences in the past five weeks so has taken the opportunity to hand the reins to Stellini once again to take a breather.
