Tottenham Hotspur Supporters' Trust has announced that it has written to the club board to discuss "genuine concerns" over the situation and direction of the club. The trust have put forward some key questions they believe are "fundamental" for the fans to have answered.
It comes amid discontent surrounding the current ownership and structure at the top of the club, reflected in the stands at recent games. During their 4-0 thrashing of Crystal Palace on Wednesday night, the travelling supporters chanted that they wanted chairman Daniel Levy to leave the club.
Head coach Antonio Conte was asked about the chants directed to his hierarchy and responded: "Honestly, I didn't hear this, but it's important to stay together. In my life, my family also taught me that the truth is always the best solution, even if this is a bad truth. In this moment we are trying together to create a base.

"I understand that fans want to win, to lift trophies, to be competitive. I understand that very well, but to take this step, you need now to create a base, to have patience and I can't tell you something different or I'll have to tell you good lies and I don't like to tell good lies."
Despite that rally call from Conte, the fans have decided they want answers on some of the key points they believe will move them towards that goal. The Supporters' Trust put out a statement on questions put to the board covering four key areas for consideration.
The first question surrounds strategy and measuring of success, asking: "Will the club share it's medium and long-term strategy for success both on and off the pitch? How is the club measuring progress and how does it judge current outcomes against those measurements?"
The second question is based on the future of Conte, stating: "The manager employed by the Club has not signed a new contract and tells us we should lower expectations about on-field outcomes. He has said publicly that the Club needs to spend big money every window just to compete. How does this align with the board's philosophy for achieving success?"
The third area is on player recruitment, adding: "Are you satisfied with player recruitment in recent transfer windows and with the performance of the youth teams and the development and supply of younger players for the first-team? Are there any plans to improve on this?"
And the fourth and final question is how the club may find further income: "Does the Club have a plan for further investment to ensure the club remains competitive on the pitch in the face of substantial addition investment by other Premier League clubs? Is the Club closer to securing a naming rights provider? Is there a plan for further investment from ENIC, or from other potential investors or buyers?"
