Tottenham Hotspur look set to sign Brighton midfielder Yves Bissouma after agreeing a fee of more than £25m for the midfielder.
Antonio Conte has been looking to bolster his midfield options which currently include Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg, Rodrigo Bentancur and Oliver Skipp, with Harry Winks expected to leave the club this summer with Everton among the interested parties. football.london reported last week that 25-year-old Bissouma was one of the candidates Tottenham were seriously considering to bolster their midfield.
With just a year left on his contract Spurs are understood to have been able to agree a fee of more than £25m, which will rise higher, for the Mali international and a medical is expected to follow later this week. Bissouma suffered an ankle injury on international duty this month and had a knee problem during the season but is expected to pass his medical without issues.

Bissouma played 28 matches last season and was a pivotal part of Brighton's surge up the table to a ninth-place finish under Graham Potter. His engine and ability to move the ball quickly from defence to attack has marked him out for a similar role within Conte's midfield.
With Champions League football on the table, the Italian wanted to build a bigger squad to compete on all fronts and he will have now have four central midfielders all vying for a spot in every competition.
Another central midfielder, 19-year-old Pape Matar Sarr, who joined Spurs last summer before heading back to Metz on loan for the season, is set to link up with the club this summer, but could head out on loan once again if Conte does not believe he is ready yet for the physical nature of the Premier League.
Bissouma will become Spurs' third signing of the summer, with the club having already brought in free agents Ivan Perisic and Fraser Forster since the season ended. Midfielders Tanguy Ndombele and Giovani Lo Celso, the two most expensive signings in Tottenham's history are also set to be moved on after their loan spells at Lyon and Villarreal respectively end.
