Tottenham fans spot what Son Heung-min did in the tunnel after Premier League defeat to Wolves

Spurs suffered another huge setback in their pursuit for a top-four finish on Sunday, as Bruno Lage's Wolves managed to clinch all three points in a 2-0 victory.

Striker Raul Jimenez opened the scoring after just seven minutes following a howler from goalkeeper Hugo Lloris before Leander Dendoncker added further salt into the wounds, doubling the away side's lead.

Spurs huffed and puffed to get back into the game and despite creating a few chances, there wasn't anything spectacular that Jose Sa had to deal with.

Breaking a team down who don't offer much space has been a significant problem for Antonio Conte's side.

Predominantly, Spurs only create chances through transitions or crosses delivered from the wide areas.

But overall, there aren't frequent patterns of play that enable them to sustain adequate pressure.

One man who had a frustrating game was star attacker Son Heung-min.

The 29-year-old delayed his final action in the first half after Rodrigo Bentancur delivered a delightful through ball to put the former Bayer Leverkusen man through on goal but he failed to take the opportunity that came his way.

Interestingly after the game, eagle-eyed Tottenham fans spotted what Son did after full-time.

As per Reddit, Son was seen sitting in the tunnel chatting away with Wolves forward Hwang Hee Chan.

Many would argue though that it's natural for a player to speak with a compatriot and someone he more than likely has a fairly close relationship with from the national team.

It doesn't get much easier for the north Londoners in their next Premier League encounter where they face league leaders Manchester City at the Etihad stadium.
