Tottenham are nearing the appointment of their next manager as Daniel Levy prepares the club for the next chapter in his project. The future at N17 has been uncertain after the dismissal of Antonio Conte and the exit of director of football Fabio Paratici, with some huge decisions having to be made over their successors.
The head coach appears to have been the priority for Levy, though targets such as Arne Slot and Julian Nagelsmann weren't landed in the end. That has led the chairman to turn to Celtic boss Ange Postecoglou, who has impressed in uniting the Scottish side and returning them to the top.
It's a move that has been accelerated following the Australian coach's Scottish Cup victory as Sky Sports reports that a deal in principle has been agreed between him and Spurs. It leaves a deal between the north London club and Celtic left to be struck before it can be completed.

The move would bring more stability and direction to where the future may be for the Lilywhites, allowing other issues such as the next director of football and potential transfer targets to be decided upon. Fans gave their thoughts on the completed deal on social media shortly after.
