Tottenham Hotspur fans have given their reaction to summer links with Nottingham Forest duo Djed Spence and Brennan Johnson.
Both have caught the eye with their performances at the City Ground this season, gaining interest from a number of Premier League clubs. Latest reports from football.london claim that Tottenham are the latest club to earmark both Spence and Johnson as potential targets . The report says that Spurs are looking to boster their squad next season and are looking to sign homegrown players in order to reach the threshold required in European squads next season.
Spence is currently on loan with Forest from fellow Championship side Middlesborough but looks set to complete a permanent move this summer. Forest will be hoping it’s to the City Ground.

Johnson has had a breakthrough season with the club, scoring 19 goals in all competitions, including one in each leg of the play-off semi-final victory over Sheffield United this week. Forest resisted January offers from Premier League side Brentford for the 20-year-old.
Following Spurs’ reported interest in the duo, Tottenham fans took to social media to give their reaction to the links. Here’s just some of what they had to say.
Dan D : Spence, Johnstone & Mahle in and Gollini, Emerson & Reguilón out would be good early business. Gives us 3 foreign player places back plus a healthy profit to invest elsewhere, not to mention that it represents a more suitable group of players for Conte's system. #thfc #coys
Tottenham Loyal : This kid has the right mentality & his qualities are what you’d look for in a Conte wingback. Gets forward well & is good in the box.
Signings from the Championship leave a lot to be desired but I rate Spence.
Nath : Johnson sure but Spence is not good enough
Alex Dimech : We need experience that's a fact, but I we also need to think about the future. These two young lads have been brilliant this season and I'd honestly be very happy with this
@SpurssKaii : Better options than Spence but Johnson is a little baller, I wouldn't mind him.
SimonFish : They've both got fantastic potential but neither of them are currently first teamers for us
Antonio’s Son : Love Spence, would be perfect if we can bring in a more experienced wing back with him
Taylor Richardson : This is the sort of news we want!
TheFootyCafe : Yes please definitely sign up brennan Johnson this summer @SpursOfficial
