Tottenham Hotspur have announced a pre-season match against West Ham in Perth, Australia, and many of the fans have been saying a couple of similar things about the game.
Spurs will visit Perth to take on their London rivals West Ham United on Tuesday July 18 at the 60,000-capacity Optus Stadium. The game will kick off Tottenham's Asia-Pacific Tour 2023, which will also include visits to two additional Asian cities for further matches that month.
The promotional artwork for the tour features Brazilian attacker Richarlison prominently as well as Son Heung-min and Cristian Romero. Most Tottenham fans have noticed that the club did not use their all-time record goalscorer Harry Kane on the artwork anywhere, although he was featured in accompanying footage of matches between the two London rivals over recent seasons. Spurs' currently injured captain Hugo Lloris was also missing from any of the promotional imagery.

Some fans have been worrying whether both players' absence from the promotional material is due to the speculation over the future. Both have a year remaining on their contracts but Kane has been linked with a move elsewhere and Tottenham are understood to be aiming to bring in a long-term eventual successor to the 36-year-old Lloris this summer.
Some Tottenham supporters have also pointed out the irony of such an environmentally-conscious club in the north London outfit playing a team who are located just seven miles away from them in the capital but instead doing so 9,000 miles across the world.
Spurs should be taking a strong squad out on the tour with the only summer international tournament being the Nations League games for four days in mid-June and the squad are likely to be having their first pre-season under a new head coach with Antonio Conte's time at the club set to come to an end.
Tottenham are set to announce their further fixtures in the two Asian destinations in due course.
