Tottenham confirmed team vs Marseille: Conte makes one change, Richarlison and Lenglet start

Antonio Conte has made one change to his Tottenham XI for this evening's Champions League clash against Marseille at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. Not featuring in the competition since their Round of 16 exit against RB Leipzig back in March 2020, it is set to be a memorable occasion for all in north London.

Fresh from beating Fulham 2-1 at the weekend, Spurs will go into the game in confident mood after producing one of their best performances of the season against the Cottagers. Marseille, on the other hand, have started their campaign strongly and sit second in Ligue 1 after winning five and drawing one of their first six league fixtures.

This evening's game sees Conte come face-to-face with former Juventus teammate Igor Tudor, who is now in charge of Marseille. Claiming that the Croat's team "have a very clear idea" after an impressive start to the campaign, it won't be a straightforward match at all for the Lilywhites.

Making five changes at the weekend for the Fulham game, Conte has only made the one this time with Ivan Perisic replacing Ryan Sessegnon in the team. Clement Lenglet starts again in the back three, meaning Ben Davies is on the bench for the second successive game.

Elsewhere, Richarlison keeps his place in the team ahead of Dejan Kulusevski.

Here is the Tottenham team Conte has named to take on the French side:

Tottenham team: Lloris; Romero, Dier, Lenglet; Emerson, Hojbjerg, Bentancur, Perisic; Richarlison, Kane, Son

Substitutes: Forster, Doherty, Sanchez, Davies, Spence, Sessegnon, Tanganga, Skipp, Sarr, Bissouma, Gil, Kulusevski
