Tottenham Hotspur have confirmed the loan signing of Villarreal's Arnaut Danjuma - achieving a successful hijack of Everton's pursuit for the forward.
The Netherlands international has put to paper on a six-month loan deal at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, just days after completing his medical at Finch Farm.
Danjuma had been eyed by former Blues manager Frank Lampard as a potential fix to his side's creative struggles in the Premier League this season and was reported to have all but finalised the process of signing for Everton until the end of the season, with just the registration forms left to be signed off.

However, on Tuesday Antonio Conte's side make a last-ditch attempt to sway the La Liga star in favour of a move to North London, with Danjuma's entourage travelling down to the capital with the player to complete a medical later that evening. The deal was confirmed on Wednesday afternoon.
Director of football Kevin Thelwell is yet to add any additions to the struggling Everton side so far this window and with just over a week left of the transfer, Everton also appear increasingly likely to lose Anthony Gordon as Newcastle United continue to pursue the England under-21 international.
