Tottenham confirm new Europa League squad as Antonin Kinsky left out and Timo Werner removed

Tottenham have confirmed their squad for the knockout stages of the Europa League.

Clubs were only able to make three changes from their squad for the group stage and Spurs have decided to add full-back Djed Spence and January signings Kevin Danso and Mathys Tel.

It means new goalkeeper Antonin Kinsky has been left out and will be unavailable for the knockout stage. Current first-choice keeper Guglielmo Vicario has been sidelined since November, but is expected to be fit for the last-16 stage.

Timo Werner, Radu Dragusin and Fraser Forster drop out of the squad to make room for Spence, Danso and Tel.

Spurs are waiting to learn their last-16 opponents after finishing in the top eight of the league phase and avoiding a two-legged play-off round.

As a result of finishing fourth in the league phase, Spurs will either face the winners of the knockout phase play-off between the 13th and 14th seeds, or the 19th and 20th seeds.

That means a last-16 tie against Real Sociedad, Galatasaray, AZ Alkmaar or Midtjylland.

Spurs will find out their opponents when the Europa League is made on February 21.
