Tottenham Hotspur have snapped up Ipswich's England youth international defender Calum Logan while striker Will Lankshear has put pen to paper on his professional deal.
football.london was at Hotspur Way on Friday afternoon as left-sided centre-back Logan, 16, arrived to put the finishing touches to his move to the club's academy. The England U17 international caught the attention of Spurs last summer but he decided to remain with the Tractor Boys for another season.
Now the highly-rated teenager has agreed on the switch to the north London club. Logan has been playing up an age group this year for Ipswich U18s and was part of their side that reached the quarter-finals of the FA Youth Cup this season. The youngster was sent off in their 4-2 exit to West Ham.

Logan was not the only player putting pen to paper this week as striker Lankshear turned 18 and duly signed his pro deal with the club. The forward was snapped up from Sheffield United last summer in a deal worth a reported £2m.
Lankshear netted five goals in seven games for the U18s domestically and in the UEFA Youth League, as well as stepping up to make appearances for the U21s before needing surgery in February to fix a knee problem which ended his campaign.
The club also announced on Friday that 18-year-old goalkeeper Luca Gunter has signed a new contract that will run until 2025.
The stopper has been at Spurs since the age of 12 and has enjoyed a impressive season as captain of the U18s, as a near ever-present in all competitions and leading the team to both the U18 and U17 Premier League Cup finals, lifting the trophy in the latter this week as they overcame Nottingham Forest.
Gunter also made his U21s debut against Fulham in March and has been capped by England at every level between U15 and U18 so far.
