Hugo Lloris insists that Tottenham are heading in the right direction under Antonio Conte and the side are not disrupted by rumours linking him with the Paris Saint-Germain job.
Conte only arrived at Spurs in November, but there's already been suggestions that he could be tempted to move on from the club. With rumours suggesting Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino could leave his post in the summer - particularly considering the Manchester United position will be available - Conte is reportedly among PSG's list of potential replacements.
But judging by Lloris' words, Spurs players will be hoping he remains in England because he's helped them to progress as a team. Speaking to to French radio station Europe 1, via Get French Football News, he said: “Now, it’s been two and a half years that we’ve been a bit up and down.

"But since the arrival of Antonio Conte, we sense a real progression. We sense a real direction and even if we had a few difficulties in February, we get the feeling that we’re taking it to the next level as a team and I think we’ll be ready for the final push to go and get a European spot.”
Lloris went onto explain that Conte is linked with the PSG job because of his pedigree as a top manager, but the speculation hasn't had an impact on Spurs players. “I think all the best managers are linked with PSG since they are chasing elite status and a Champions League victory,” he continued.
“And for that, they try to trust the best. So we know the football industry. All these rumours, all this speculation. We’re in our bubble and we’re doing the best for our club.”
Tottenham's club captain will be hoping to lead his side to the Champions League places this season. Spurs currently trail north London rivals Arsenal - who have a game in hand - by three points, but with nine games to go, plenty of twist and turns are expected.
