Spence among January calls
Antonio Conte has as many as 10 key decisions to make on January transfers ahead of the return of domestic football and another opportunity to buy and sell players.
The winter window is just over three weeks away and represents a chance for clubs to revamp or recover their squads after the World Cup, and Conte promises to be a busy man.
The Italian has only used summer signing Djed Spence in four matches this season and the former Championship starlet faces the prospect of a loan in January, but he is one of nearly a dozen players that could be on their way out.

Spurs well placed for Barca man
Tottenham are well in the mix to sign Barcelona midfielder Franck Kessie, according to AS.
The Ivorian player only joined in the summer but hasn't managed to displace Pedri or Gavi in the centre of the pitch as Xavi favours a youthful set-up.
Conte has had to overburden Rodrygo Bentancur and Pierre-Emille Hojbjerg this season and looked into the possibility of adding extra bodies last summer, but could visit the position in the winter with Kessie on their shortlist.

Attacker needed for outgoing to happen
Tottenham forward Bryan Gil won't be allowed to leave the club on a loan unless a new player comes in to replace him, reports Fabrizio Romano for CaughtOffside.
The Spaniard has impressed when called upon but hasn't been able to earn consistent minutes at Spurs. He nearly went back to his former club Valencia on loan after signing, but a similar block occurred.
“There’s been further speculation about the future of Bryan Gil,” Romano said. “My understanding is he could only leave Tottenham if a replacement will be signed.
“This was the case in August with Valencia move and it’s still the same now."
