Tottenham can save more than £100m by completing three summer transfers now

Tottenham will be hoping that next season they will be back among Europe's elite and competing on Tuesday and Wednesday nights in the UEFA Champions League.

If they are unable to do so, then the priority will be ensuring they are back in the competition the following year.

In order to do so, Spurs will have a major job to do in the summer when it comes to bringing in the players enable the club to finish inside the top four.

With Antonio Conte in charge, Spurs have a major name in world football to attract some of the best players around the world and if Daniel Levy is reluctant to spend hundreds of millions of dollars, there are some spectacular players available on a free transfer at the end of the season.

football.london takes a look there players Spurs can sign on a free transfer regardless of whether they will be in the Champions League in 2022.

Paulo Dybala

Paulo Dybala nearly joined Spurs a few years back and having opted to stay at Juventus, it could be second time's a charm for the north London outfit.

At 28, Dybala has the experience needed to come in and hit the ground running and Spurs cannot risk playing catch up with the Premier League growing stronger and stronger.

Despite missing each other by a year in Turin, it's hard to imagine Dybala not knowing what exactly is required of him in Conte's system and his addition could be something which keeps Harry Kane at Tottenham for the rest of his career.

Regardless of whether the club are in the Champions League or UEFA Europa League, Dybala is a must-have addition in the summer.

Franck Kessie

Tottenham may have missed their opportunity to nab Milan's Frank Kessie in January but they will have a huge chance to correct that mistake come May.

Kessie will have a umber of teams after him when his contract at the San Siro expires but Spurs can offer the midfielder the lure of being a major part of the club's evolution as opposed to being a bit-part player for another club.

Having watched him impress against not just Manchester United but Liverpool in Europe over the past few years, Kessie would have no issue going toe to toe against any club in England.

Wages may be an issue but no transfer fee to deal with, it could work in the club's favour and help bring a major talent to north London.

Jesse Lingard

Many believe Jesse Lingard should have left Manchester United last season and joined West Ham United.

Instead, Lingard decided to see out his contract at Old Trafford and Spurs should be in the market for his services.

The England international has shown what he can do already in London, be it in the east, and bringing him to Tottenham Hotspur Stadium not only weakens rivals but adds plenty of strengths to the team.

A player with an eye for goal but isn't afraid to track back and help out the defence, Lingard would add something extra not just on both flanks but through the middle off Kane.
