Tottenham Hotspur and Red Bull Leipzig are eyeing up a move for Leeds United defender Robin Koch, according to reports.
The Leeds centre-back recently revealed that his agent is in talks with the club over a new deal to stay at Elland Road beyond the 2023/24 season. However, with no official announcement or confirmation having yet been made, there is still plenty of speculation surrounding his future in West Yorkshire.
Koch has less than 18 months left on his current deal and Leeds will be eager for the German to commit his long-term future at the club by putting pen to paper. Following the arrival of Max Wober in the January transfer window, the pair have quickly formed a solid partnership in central defence.

But now it seems that Koch's fine performances have not gone unnoticed, as Italian outlet TuttoMercatoWeb report that Tottenham and RB Leipzig have joined Newcastle United in the race for his signature. Following his move from Freiburg in the summer of 2020, the 26-year-old has enjoyed his best season with Leeds this term.
Starting all but one of Leeds' Premier League matches, he has become an essential part of the Whites' back-line. Questions still remain over whether Koch will sign a new deal until the club's top-flight status for the 2023/24 campaign has been confirmed, as it now seems the likes of Spurs are waiting in the wings with a no-doubt lucrative offer on the table for the defender.
Koch's performances for Leeds will likely play a vital role in their battle against relegation, something that could well directly correlate with his future at Elland Road come May.
