Tottenham Hotspur look set to prise Hakim Ziyech away from Chelsea on deadline say in a dramatic turn of events. The 29-year-old has been heavily linked with an exit from Stamford Bridge this summer and a deal finally looks set to materialise.
The winger, who sees his contract in west London expire in 2025, started just 14 times for the Blues in the Premier League last season, directly contributing towards seven goals. Despite having shown glimpses of promise under Thomas Tuchel, a series of injuries have seen the Moroccan fall out of favour and he's since been linked with an exit.
football.london understand that Chelsea are open to selling Ziyech should a suitable offer be tabled. It's said that AC Milan made an offer worth €25million (£21million) - with €5million (£4.2millinon) to be paid this year and €20million (£16.8million) the next - earlier in the summer, which was rejected.

According to the Evening Standard, Spurs have emerged as a potential escape route for Ziyech as Antonio Conte continues to further bolster his frontline this summer. The north Londoners have already added Richarlison to a front-three of Harry Kane, Son Heung-Min and Dejan Kulusevski.
But, with Bryan Bil poised to leave Hotspur Way, Fabio Paratici has considered a few targets to replace the Spaniard. The report states that Leeds United winger Dan James and Manchester City starlet Adedire Mebude are of note too.
The Evening Standard that Tottenham have entered the running to sign Ziyech. And, it's said that talks are already underway over a transfer and personal terms.
With just a few hours left of the transfer window remaining and Chelsea eager to offload the winger, Todd Boehly is believed to have lowered the asking price to £21million. Despite an exit from Tuchel's side on the cards, Ziyech has always spoken highly of his boss. Speaking to the official Chelsea website in March.
The Moroccan said: "He has a clear idea what he wants, how we want to play. He's bringing that to the group in a really good way. In defending wise we all have our responsibility and attacking we have our freedom to find spaces and create chances."
