Tottenham 2023/24 third kit 'leaked' as Nike make interesting shirt decision ahead of new season

We are now at the time of the year when information about Tottenham's kits for the 2023/24 campaign is starting to emerge. Penning a huge 15-year deal with Nike back in 2017, next season's shirts will be the seventh set produced by the American sportswear giant.

During that time we have seen a number of striking designs, including the green third shirt made famous by Tottenham's run to the Champions League final and last season's vivid away top that featured different shades of blue, orange and various other colours. Those fans looking forward to another bold third shirt may be left a little disappointed come the start of next campaign, however.

According to popular website Footy Headlines, Spurs are set for a club first as Nike have opted for a dark beige third kit, which is a colour the club have not worn in the past. Images of the shirt have been 'leaked' by Footy Headlines and it is a rather plain and simple design instead of the eye-catching jerseys we have come to expect from Nike over the past couple of seasons.

The main colour of the club's next third shirt is known as "taupe haze" with "diffused taupe" used for the collar detailing. The shirt also features black side panels and sleeve cuffs, with black logos completing the shirt.

Back in October, Footy Headlines confirmed that Tottenham's away shirt for 2023/24 will be a combination of marine and purple in 2023/24. A colour combination that has been used countless times in the past for Tottenham away shirts, the design should be a hit with the fanbase as the colours have proved incredibly popular in previous years.

Next season's Nike away kit will also feature another first for the football club as iridescent logos will be used on the top. While it may be something completely new for Tottenham, Nike have used them in recent years, including in 2021/22 for Barcelona's away kit and this year for the shirt England Women wore in their successful Euro 2022 campaign.
