Reports of a tornado outbreak have emerged as a result of the wide-scale storm system sweeping across the country. Tornadoes were sighted in Illinois, with an unconfirmed report in the Grand Blank Michigan region, southeastern Michigan, during the late hours of the night. This brings the total number of states impacted by tornado watches to five, indicating that the severe weather threat is far from over.

The affected areas include southeastern Indiana, parts of Ohio extending into Kentucky, and the northern regions of Tennessee. These areas are expected to remain under watch throughout the morning, heightening the need for caution and preparedness among residents.

Of particular concern is the city of Columbus, Ohio, which is now under a tornado warning. Radar data has revealed tornado signatures just west of Columbus, prompting authorities to urge residents in the western suburbs to seek shelter immediately. As the storm system progresses eastward, the risk of tornado activity remains high, underscoring the importance of taking necessary precautions.
