A top YouTube personality revealed during a podcast appearance with a pro-Trump influencer that he wants to eventually get involved in politics and even run for president.

Jimmy Donaldson, who is known to fans around the world as MrBeast said in an appearance on Theo Von's podcast "This Past Weekend" that while this plan is a ways away, he wants to run for president when he is older.

"It would probably be like, when I'm 50 or 60, because I would need to accomplish everything I want in business and stuff, and then probably take 10 years and do something at the local level, then state level, and work my way up. We'll see," Donaldson said on the podcast.

The YouTuber, who boasts more than 335 million subscribers, previously tweeted that he would run for president in the 2024 election if Congress agreed to lower the voting age from 35 so that he could run at 26, which quickly went viral on X.

"If I were president I wouldn't care about party lines, I'd just always truly make the American people my #1 priority. For problems I'm ignorant in I'd have experts from the left and right advise me on them and try to find the middle ground that's best for America," Donaldson wrote on X in July.

Aside from his over-the-top videos of stunts and challenges, the YouTuber is also known for his charity works and giveaways, as the YouTuber's other channel Beast Philanthropy boasts more than 26 million subscribers, and reportedly uses the profits from that channel to support nonprofits and causes around the world.

Donaldson said on the podcast that he initially said that as a joke because he knew people "would freak the f*** out, and it worked."

Von previously interviewed Donald Trump in August, during which he repeatedly called the now-president-elect "homie." The former reality star congratulated Trump after it was announced he won the election and included the hashtag "MAHA," or "Make America Healthy Again."
