'Top talent' - Ex-Liverpool striker's Conor Bradley verdict which bodes well for Bolton Wanderers

Conor Bradley has become the third signing of the summer transfer window at Bolton Wanderers after arriving on loan from Premier League side Liverpool.

The 18-year-old right-back has joined Wanderers for the upcoming season in League One. It will the first spell away from Anfield for the young defender.

He joins following Manchester City's James Trafford rejoining on loan for the upcoming campaign after a successful loan spell in the season half last season. Jack Iredale has also joined the club on a free transfer from Cambridge United.

Bradley hails from Northern Ireland and has eight caps for his country at senior level. He is not part of the Wanderers squad which has travelled to Portugal and will link up with his new team-mates next Monday, following a break after being on Northern Ireland international duty.

The right-back has also played five times for Jurgen Klopp's side across the Champions League, FA Cup and Carabao Cup. All of these appearances came last season, but will now spend the upcoming campaign out on loan at Wanderers.

Former Liverpool striker Neil Mellor watches the Reds regularly as an LFCTV reporter too and has given his verdict on on the move. It is one he believes Bolton fans ought to be excited about.

Taking to Twitter, Mellor wrote: "Top young talent. Bolton fans will enjoy watching this lad. All the best to Conor."

Wanderers fans have reacted to the move on Twitter and have been overwhelmingly positive about the move. The player will fill the void left after Wanderers moved on from signing Marlon Fossey from Fulham due to Championship interest.

Martin Pendlebury wrote: "Shows how far we've come in a short period of time from turmoil to signing the best up and coming talents from the two best teams in the country."

Chris Wordley wrote: "Not a bad word to say about Fossey not returning, I wish him well, but we move on and what a player to replace him with."

James Derbyshire wrote: "Think Connor Bradley will be a very good loan signing. Put up good numbers in PL2 last season with Liverpool and already 8 caps for NI. Good to be loaning top youngsters from Liverpool & Man City. Wasn't long ago we were loaning Ipswich and Lincoln cast offs."

But their Liverpool supporting counterparts have also had their say on the loan move for the youngster. Judging by the reactions on the social media platform, the move is a positive one for the Whites with many Reds fans singing the teeneger's praises.
