By the time the 2025 NFL draft rolls around, there are a number of quarterbacks who will be vying to be the first quarterback off the board. One of those quarterbacks who made it more or less official is Colorado’s Shedeur Sanders.
Sanders informally declared for the 2025 NFL draft when he was asked about registering for classes in the spring and he replied, “Man, I’m going to the league.”
Sanders joined his dad at Colorado when Deion became the head coach.

Many project Sanders to be a top-five pick in the first round. Personally, we expect Sanders to go high but could definitely be overdrafted due to so many quarterback-needy teams. Sanders is far from a finished product, and we don’t expect to see a ton of growth from him on that Buffaloes team, so it only makes sense he maximizes his momentum now.
