Daizen Maeda is in the form of his life and, according to fresh stats from UEFA, one of the most active players in the Champions League.
The electric Japanese attacker added another goal to his ever-growing tally against Bayern Munich on Wednesday evening.
Maeda now has four Champions League strikes this campaign, more than any other Celtic player has ever managed in a single season.
The 27-year-old's goalscoring form has been something to behold in 2024/25, but his ever-impressive running capabilities have equally caught the eye.

Brendan Rodgers has previously hailed Maeda as one of world football's best pressers, and that was apparent in recent stats released by UEFA.
Indeed, the Celtic forward managed the most number of sprints out of all players in the Champions League midweek.
That was also the case on matchdays seven and four, with Maeda coming second on matchdays six, five, and three:

An undoubted key player for Celtic, Maeda wasn't even due to feature in his side's first leg against Bayern until his two-game suspension was reduced to one.
Appealing the ban proved to be crucial, as the Japan international's goal kept Rodgers' men in the tie ahead of the second leg on Tuesday.
